Fellini’s Pizza

GRADE: B

Outside

Food: I absolutely love Fellini’s pizza. The biggest reason I love it is for the meat they use. There is no skimping on the meat, it is absolutely fresh, and it comes in huge pieces. During this visit I ordered just two slices of pepperoni and sausage. If you are use to the chain pizza places that give you thin sausage and/or pepperoni, you will be pleasantly surprised here. The pizza is very well crafted and in case you don’t like that, they have daily specials and incredible calzones as well. The food gets an A+

Ambiance – This place has a great atmosphere. It almost has the vibe of a dive bar and tends to have a more hardcore feel than your typical kid friendly pizza place. I love the outdoor dining and the mosaic tile tables and floor they have as well. Really is nothing to dislike about this place if you are looking for a place to relax and have a good piece of pizza. Ambiance gets an A

Service – It’s an order at the counter type of place and like I mentioned before, it has the feel of a dive bar so I didn’t expect too much in terms of service. All you can really ask for is a friendly cashier and prompt delivery of your order. Prompt delivery of my order always happens, but I don’t feel like the cashiers do a good job of handling the customers. It’s not that anyone is ever really rude but I have had them skip me to take someone else’s order behind me or just take their sweet time when 10+ people are in line. It seems to be a little unacceptable to me and makes me hesitant to make another trip there unless I am feeling like I can take a bit of a wait or sub-par counter service. Service gets a C+

Price/Quality – The pizza is above average and not too expensive. It is about the prices you would expect here. For two slices with two toppings and a drink I paid around $8 which is a good price and very fair. No spectacular deals but still well worth the money. Price/Quality gets a B

Uniqueness - There are plenty of quality pizza places in Atlanta and I don’t think Fellini’s stands out enough to truly say that it is unique. However, I feel like they do several things well and to find a pizza place with true ambiance is a rare thing. In those aspects they do rise above the others. Uniqueness gets a B-
